I’m beyond excited to be here on the Fierce Forward blog sharing with you a recipe that’s perfect for lunch box additions, pre-workout fuel, on-the-go travel snacks or to serve at an upcoming get together. Best of all these Dark Chocolate Cherry Chia Energy Bites are quick to make and no baking is need! My kind of a recipe!
Cha cha cha chia!
Chia seeds are quite a nutritious powerhouse!
A 1-ounce serving of chia seeds (which is about 2 Tbsp.) provides:
- 11 grams of fiber
- 4 grams of protein
- 5 grams of healthy omega-3 fats
- 30% of your daily needs of calcium, manganese & magnesium
So whether you give this recipe a try or not, you may just want to add some chia seeds to your diet. Add them to a smoothie, mix them into yogurt, sprinkle them on a salad or try this 3-ingredient Cherry Chia Jam.
Are you ready to give these Dark Chocolate Cherry Chia Energy Bites a try?! Awesome! I can’t wait to hear how you like them!
