The doors are wide open, my spiced pumpkin candle is burning in front of the computer and the boys are at my feet, so happy I’m home. Seven days ago, I rolled out of my driveway and embarked on a 16 hour car ride to Vermont. I arrived a day early to prepare, settle in and take some time to get a feel for the grounds. I chose a 150 year old barn at Sky Meadow Retreat Center, in the middle of the woods of northern Vermont, as I knew it would be a place that would be unforgettable. A hobbit hut out the back yard, alpacas and sheep greeting us with their sounds each night, fresh water ponds to jump in, homemade peppermint iced tea and a staff that made us vegetarian dishes each meal, this was just what I was hoping for for the Fierce Forward, 2016 Retreat!
Morning coffee chats over chicory coffee while the cell phones sat in the disconnect basket, yoga, meditation and daily goal coaching were all a part of the structure within each day at the retreat. While I had many things I wanted to get in, I was mindful to leave time and space for what needed to flow and with that came more time for the girls to get to know each other, pond jumping, more coffee chats and even tribe photo shoots (I love to be creative behind the camera!). What a week of growth, connection and pure fierceness. I will forever remember these retreats as they are always one-of-a-kind experiences, made soulful by the women that attend. Here are some of my favorite photos from the week.

A special thank you to my friends at My Mat, My Mantra for providing the girls with yoga intention stickers!
