October is all about change. A new season. Leaves changing from green to beautiful shades of orange, yellow and rad (I mean, red!). Trading your flip flops for knee-high leather boots. Hot chai-tea latte instead of an iced latte. Pumpkin soup instead of a cold salad. You get the drift…a lot is shifting. All the change in the air is exotic and we want more of it so we go out and change our hair color, our nail color and in some respects there is a change in attitude. Some attitudes become excited for fall and all of its beauty and others despise it because it means winter is on the rise. I love fall and change with all of my big red heart and that will never change. I urge you to try to find one thing you love about all this change, even if you have to work at it. Don’t be grumpy or glum, be happy to be alive. And as you expeirence all of this change, don’t feel the need to change Stay rad! Stay weird! Stay you.
As Robin Williams once said, “You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it.” Don’t get lost in the madness of change, but rather, flow with it and let it take you where it shall.
