Welcome to Day 2 of the Positivity Challenge! I am reading a lot of your feedback in our Community Page on how Day 1 went and here is what you have said:
Today I decided to “go yellow” and smile, I also wanted to share that smile. I looked around and focused on the beautiful, the caring, the strong, and the love. I complimented several women on their “glow” and fierceness then smiled when they beamed with happiness. It’s amazing how people smile more broadly, how their eyes twinkle and how they straighten up a little more when they feel respected, beautiful, noticed, and appreciated.
As I got ready for bed, I decided to include myself in the compliments by “going pink”. I repeated several times “I am enough. I am love. I have love. My life is so beautiful. It really is. It really is. I am fierce.” Good night ladies. May your day be beautiful and full of love. Natalie Culbert
Today didn’t start out that great for me, but I decided to smile instead of letting myself get annoyed by little things (I can’t remember where I got this idea…I think it might have been Ashley or someone in this group!), but anyway, it worked and I ended up having a great day! Laurie Wise
For Day 2 & 3, I want to talk about ENERGY and I want to spend two days on it because it is important.
Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?

Energy was one of the first pieces of Armor I created. I created it with the Limitless Collection which was the “7 Steps to any goal” and ironically enough throughout the past two years it, along with Grounded is the least added to sister’s carts. I wanted to start off with this because I can’t help but think how important these two intentions and movements actually are in our lives and I wanted to give you an example of how little importance is placed on Energy in this one experiment so to speak I have seen happen with just the armor. I defined energy as: A force. Energy circulates in every living thing; It connects us all. You are a force of strength, love and vitality in everything you do.
When I have worked on Energy in my life I have realized two things, that energy is either a source of abundance or a source of drainage. In anything I do, experience, feel or think, I am either gathering energy or it is being expelled from me. Now, you can GIVE energy and still be filled up when you give it but it all depends on what you are doing. I want you to really think about this situations you go through today, the people you surround yourself with, the challenges that may be occurring in your life right now and REALLY THINK about WHAT YOU GET from each of these. It is also important to focus on what may be TAKING your energy from you but in the end, our main goal is to find that which fills us up with energy and to keep THOSE THINGS prevalent in our next two days and hopefully use this activity as a tool in your life moving forward.
As you move throughout the next two days, write down the things that you notice. Maybe you were hanging out with a friend and realized that you feel drained by the end of your conversations. Write that down and then ask WHY. Maybe that person solely talks about themselves or about their problems and for you, that’s not filling you up, but rather, draining you. There is a reason for this. The reason is that you do not have this similarity. If you were someone who liked you chat about problems and drama and had a lot of it in your life or that was your focus and where your attention went, you would be filled up by this kind of conversation and by this friendship with this person and there is nothing wrong with either one, it is just how you are choosing to move forward in your life. Personally, I used to love to talk about drama when I had alot of it in my life and didn’t know how to control where I was going…that was right for me at the time. But since then, as I began moving fiercely forward, it was no longer serving me. The things that serve me are fun, happy, positive people who are like minded. We are attracted to what we are, to what is like us; it is human nature. Chances are, if you are taking this Challenge, you are trying to move away from this part of you that is holding you back and I will tell you that you will always work to get away from this. Even the most positive person in the world has to work at being positive…and that is human nature too.
Have so much fun doing this and while it will be very introspective and you will most likely be sitting back, observing how you are feeling there will also be times you may be at your desk talking to a client and advising them on something whilst GIVING your energy and in your mind you may feel like you are in the right place, that you are good at what you do and you love doing it and THAT is having your cup filled while giving. I look forward to see what you find in this next two days. If you commit fiercely to this, you WILL have major eye openers simply by being AWARE of where your energy is going. Again, energy is either being filled up or it is leaving you. We want more of that FILL UP ENERGY!!!
On Day 4, we will talk about the importance of guarding your important energy:)
